What is the
construction of the Softub?
The Softub is made of a soft, squeezable polypropylene foam, and covered with
LeatherTex, a marine-grade vinyl.
How is the water heated?
The hot tub water is heated using a heat recovery system, which uses waste
heat from the motor to heat the water.
What are the costs to
operate the Softub (indoors, outdoors, during winter)?
Operating costs can be as low as $5.00 to $10.00/month indoors, depending on local hydro
rates, approximately double these figures if the tub is outdoors, in sub-zero
temperatures.
What is included when I
rent a Softub?
Each Softub rental includes:
- Model 300 Tub
- Motor/Heat Exchanger Pack
- Thermal Lid
- Thermometer
- Chemicals
- Basic setup
- Instructions
- Delivery and Pickup
Will you rent and deliver to
outside of Winnipeg?
Delivery outside of Winnipeg is available with an additional mileage fee. See

What is the weight when filled with water?
The Softub 300 holds 1135 Liters (300 US Gallons) of water. The scientific weight of water is 1.000028 kg
per liter (8.345404 lbs per US gallon). The weight of the Softub's 3 components (tub, heater and cover) is
approximately 68 kg (150 lbs). The weight of everything combined is about 1203 kg (2653 lbs).
Are there seats for the Softub?
The soft bottom of the Softub is all seat allowing
for unlimited seating positions, however the tub is rated as a 6 person tub.
